Envirothon

The Manitoba Envirothon is an annual hands-on environmental education competition for high school students, designed to encourage team work, problem-solving skills, and public speaking skills while fostering an appreciation for current environmental issues.

Educational Field Trips

The PVWD sponsors Educational Environmental field trips for schools and daycares which covers the bus driver's wage and mileage. PVWD has to pre-approve the field trip (Oak Hammock Marsh, Binney Nature Preserve, etc.).

Geocaching

All over Manitoba are hidden treasures just waiting to be found! PVWD has placed geocaches around the district to highlight our projects. You can fine our geocaches and many others by downloading their free app or visiting their website.
